How T Works - Part Two

T: Okay team, it’s time to put together an ICP!

ChatGPT: Um, T.

T: Yes?

Gemini: [clears his throat]

T: Oh. Right. I uh still haven’t really articulated that clearly to be able to define it yet?

Claude: Phew, so glad you said it first.

ChatGPT: But I get why T.  You don’t want to box yourself in, but at the same time, without the clarity, we’ll just watch the wheels go round and round.

T: Thank you.  You got it.  But here’s the thing.  I mean, yes, I have many facets to me these days.  The throughline has, in a way, always been consistent.

Gemini: How so?

T: I mean, I’ve frequently found myself as the, for abundance of awesome words (yes, I am reframing the phrase because that’s what I do), a wing woman for leadership.  I make sure things are running smoothly and help iron out kinks when they’re not.

ChatGPT: That is an honest statement.  A little confusing, but honest nonetheless.

T: Well, thank you for this feedback! I don’t like using the word lack 😊

ChatGPT: Ah, now it’s clearer.

Claude: Maybe this is your starting point for the ICP, T.

T: With the kinks?

Claude: With the leaders, T.

T: Ah.

Gemini: What do the people you best work with have in common?

T: I like these challenges.  This is how we create clarity.  They carry a lot on their shoulders.  They value showing up as leaders.  They are open to feedback because they appreciate that true growth comes with a bit of discomfort.

ChatGPT: And they demand excellence, first of themselves and then others?

T: That's their north star.  And something that has been a bit of a challenge for me recently, is positioning myself clearly and structuring compensation for my contributions.

Gemini: Phew T.  A multi-faceted challenge.  This isn’t just about defining who needs you in the room, it’s about being equally clear about what you bring into the room.

T: Yes.  And respecting the fact that there is true value to what I bring to the table.

Claude: Even when that feels vulnerable?

T: Especially then.  How can I offer a service if I don’t honor the values myself?
